January 2022 Stake Conference Invitations
The following three invitations were extended to all Rose Canyon stake members during 2021 Stake and Ward Conferences by President Todd Madsen. We encourage all members to faithfully and prayerfully act on each of these invitations.
1) Make our Homes a Refuge from the Storm
Dedicate or Re-dedicate our homes as sanctuaries and refuges from the world.
Church members may have their homes dedicated by the authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood. Homes do not need to be owned or free of debt to be dedicated. Unlike Church buildings, homes are not consecrated to the Lord.

2) Earnestly Seek and ACT upon Personal Revelation (Open the Conduits of Heaven)
3) Be not Weary in Well-doing (Abound in Good Works)
The invitation is for you individually, or as a family, to study the following scriptures, prayerfully seek inspiration, and act on any impressions to “be not weary in well-doing” or “abound in good works”. This could be an impression to serve or reach out to a family member, coworker, neighbor, classmate, etc. I witness to you as you create a spiritual refuge in your home and seek to open the conduits to heaven, the Lord will strengthen you and use you as an instrument to lift and strengthen those around you.

Jesus Christ
3 Nephi 12:16 – Therefore let your light so shine before this people, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
May you feel God’s love, and an added measure of the spirit of Christ, while you seek to hear Him and join His work.
Stake Conference (August 5 - 6, 2023)
We are excited to announce that Elder Peter M. Johnson, General Authority Seventy, has been assigned by President Ballard, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, to preside at the Herriman Utah Rose Canyon Stake Conference, August 5–6, 2023. The primary purpose of stake conference is to enhance our love and to strengthen faith in Jesus Christ as we are instructed and uplifted through the power of the Holy Ghost.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
Saturday, August 5
4:00pm - 6:00pm: Stake and Ward Council Leadership Meeting
7:00pm - 9:00pm: Saturday Evening Adult Session – This is for individuals 18+, with a special invitation to graduating seniors and to all young adults.
Sunday, August 6
8:00am - 9:00pm: Sunday Youth Session - All youth ages 11-18, parents of youth, youth leaders.
10:00am - 12:00pm: General Session of Stake Conference – All are invited to attend at the Herriman Rose Canyon Stake Center located at 7079 W Rose Canyon Road.
