By Default the Applicaiton will try to use your current location using your phone's GPS coordinates,  However sometimes this can be disabled for the more security consious individual, so to be sure it's searching in the right area you can enter in the City of your choice to make sure your seeing relevant service opportunities. 

To enter any relevant filters select the "Filters" button just under the location field, you might want to do this to find the right opportunity that is either closer to you geographically or fits your skill set. 

Once in this interface you'll be able narrow down opportunities that are either closer to your location or maybe help you narrow down the results your looking for. In the example to the left I am choocing to narrow the search radius to 10 miles and looking for specific opportunities to serve at the Utah Food Bank. 

Once your done applying any relevant filters, hit the "Search" button at the bottom of the screen.

The application allows you to browse several opportunities, click the Heart for opportunities that you think are interesting but your not quite ready to sign up and want to keep looking or want to come back to later.   Also notice the number of Volunteer spots needed, this could be important if your going to sign up for a youth group or family.  

When your ready to register just click the image and you will move onto the sign up process. 

Once your on this screen be sure to verify details like the time and location and description to make sure it's what you expect. If all lines up, select the Volunteer button. 

The application will then ask you to sign in and collect other information such as the following

• Number of people in your group

• What Skills are in the group (Depends on the service)

• Any details you feel are important to share about you or your group that might be relevant to the service opportunity.
